On the NOTEBOOK page, you'll find details about my first novel and the lively characters who live, love & work in Benson's Cove, located on Washington State's Whidbey Island.   

I've added a number of HUMOR pieces published in newspapers or lifestyle magazines; the MEMOIR and POETRY pages simply give me pleasure; and I especially enjoyed putting together the BOOKS section. My plan is to update this site often, so I hope you'll visit again soon.

When you stop by, do check out the Events and Notebook pages for new information I'm excited about - I call that my Bubbling-Over Factor.   I'm on the way to adding a few more tidbits this very minute.  It's sort of like slipping into the nursery to check and see if the baby is still sleeping, then closing the door quietly knowing that all is well.  Such a great early-morning feeling.
